Welcome to the new home for all things Art Geeks
With the introduction of the brand new Art Geeks website I am launching paid memberships.
I am moving to a paid format for two reasons. The first is that it makes me accountable to provide fun new content for you to enjoy. The second is it gets you the members a little bit serious about working in your art journals. And we both know that actually opening your journal and being inspired to create is the real reason you are here.
I hear so often that artists don't have time to create and that they really wish they did. But I know in my personal life the best way for me to find the time for something that I love is to make myself just a little bit more accountable to it. So for instance I love to read. But I have developing eye conditions that make reading small print for more than a few hours difficult. So instead I listen to audio books and I pay for a monthly subscription to do so. Because I pay for that I have found that I am much more likely to find time to listen.
And after having that membership now for over six months I even find myself getting excited when it is time to choose and download a new book.
My guess is that if you have a paid membership here with an active community and new inspirational videos posted each month you too will be excited and will dedicate a little more time to being creative with your art journal.
I spent a lot of time thinking about how to build a membership model that would fit those who have only a small amount of time and still accommodate those who really are passionate and have more time.
I finally settled on a membership model.
Annual Member for $25.00. This will give you one new prompt with videos each month for 12 months. The total cost is a fee of $25.00 for one year of access. This is a non-recurring charge.
This fee covers my supplies/ equipment costs along with helping to cover things like website and video hosting.

I am really looking forward to opening up our new community forums and getting back to creating videos just for you and inspiring you to create and get a little geeky in our art journals.
I hope you will join me on this new journey. Because I am switching from a free community model to a paid model I totally understand that this may not appeal to some of you. I understand if you decided not to continue on under the circumstances. I will always continue to post free videos to my youtube channel and post [albeit rather sporadically] to my blog and other social media websites.
Thank you for your interest in the all new Art Geeks. I hope to see you there!
Ps: Once you sign up and purchase the membership model of your choice you will be redirected to the website from paypal. Just look for the Art Geeks link under Clubs or visit the Clubs homepage for your link to the members area.
